Seventh Wave Laboratories has an opening for a full-time Study Director or Study Director/Toxicologist. The Study Director or Study Director/Toxicologist is responsible for study design, study coordination, data analysis, result interpretation, and reporting. The successful candidate will:
·        Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients from initial study design to reporting of preliminary results and delivery of the final report.
·        Communicate and track study components performed by internal and external service lines.
·        Assure that studies are conducted according to protocol and that a high quality interpretation and report are provided to the client.
·        Make external presentations and meet with prospective customers to expand the current client base.
·        Meet/exceed client expectations by providing exceptional customer service.
·        Maintain a working knowledge of current trends in contract research/drug development and participate in strategic planning for Seventh Wave.
·        Senior Study Directors may mentor others in study design, interpretation, and reporting.
·        Senior Study Directors may provide consulting services in Toxicology and strategic guidance in drug development to clients.
 
Qualifications:  Seventh Wave is seeking an applicant with outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience as a Study Director or Study Director/Toxicologist. A minimum of a BS in a biological science and 10 years of experience or as a Study Director or a Master’s Degree in Toxicology or a related science with five years of industry experience or a PhD in Toxicology or a related science with 2 years of industry or post-doctoral experience is required. Qualification as a DABT is desired but not required.  Although the qualifications for this position emphasize toxicology, the successful candidate may direct safety, PK/PD, and pharmacology studies.
